Today, I went to a birthday party. A couple of things happened which left me a very deep impression.

Firstly, children. It's really interesting to listen to them shouting to each other, especially those adult-like conversations.It makes me wonder do they really know what are they talking about.

Secondly, the cake. It was impressive. (?) Haha.. A 4 kg cake. The cake is made up of a train with 2 carriages, passing by a lake with 2 ducklings. Enormous I should say. Really beautiful and I heard that it costs more than a hundred bucks. The children wanted to eat the wheels. And I got one for myself too. =) Nice chocolate wheels. By the way, the whole cake is real and everything can be eaten, except a white plastic stick which was left standing on the aluminium board when the whole cake has been eaten. It was meant for support purpose. Haha.. Cause the train head needs a little bit more support than the other carriages.

Thirdly, relationships. For the sake of it, for my own future, I shall try to keep in contact with all the friends I know. Not that I really want, but for my own future. =)

* I used to think that "If he doesn't care about me, why should I care about him? " But now, haiz. Even if it's against my will, I will make an effort to keep in contact with everyone I know. It's for my own good, I was told. =)

My friend's brother took part in the << 非常 Superband 2006>>. Shocking enough?

Well, I was shocked. I asked my friend, “ 哪一个? Lucify？J3？ 迷路兵？还是 Soul？ ”
I was excited, waiting for his answer.

And he said,“ 他第一圈 audition 就被踢出去了。 ”

Oh yes.. I'm forgetful. =P
We arranged to meet on Monday 12pm. And I forgot.
I intend to return her the physics notes. And I forgot. Now she reminds me again. But I forgot where I've put them.
I just sent her an sms. And I forgot. I sent the same sms to her. And I forgot. Until she told me I sent it many times.
I asked my grandmother what is my breakfast for tomorrow. And I forgot. And I asked again---twice.
I faxed the document over to another company. And I forgot. I faxed again. And I forgot again. The other company faxed the document back, written on it was "Don't fax so many copies! We have already received it!" The other said " Enough of the faxes! You are wasting our paper!"
I was reading a story book. But had to flip back to the beginning and read again. Because I forgot what was going on. It took me ages to finish that 6cm-thick book.
I was listening carefully to the news on TV. The newscaster finished her reporting and I turned to my sister, asked her, “刚才她讲什么？” Because I forgot what she reported.

So..Friends, please remind me every now and then. I'm really forgetful. Haiz.

It’s only recently then I know what’s going on in 非常 Superband. For the past few months, I had been missing every round of the competition and it was my mother who would call me up and update me on who’s been eliminated, who sang what song, did what, whose performance exceeded her expectation and who underperformed, etc. It was the same for Project Superstar when I’m in hall. She would tell me how well Wei Lian sang and how much Shi Xin Hui improved when I didn’t get to watch.

Now that I get to watch the Superband, I then understand how my mother admires those Malay boys in Juz B. Their superb Accapella skills really touched my heart and what’s more, they sing in Chinese.

Then there’s Brods, which my mother calls them “brother”. She keeps saying that they really sing very well, just like Power Station (动力火车). Milubing （迷路兵） is another team which my mother likes. She’s full of praise for Nic (the guy with specs) which I really don’t know why. She just said that he’s good looking, can sing very well and looks amiable. Ok. I understand what she meant. But the way she praises him sounds like she’s praising her own son. Then it suddenly struck me that mothers seldom praise her own children. Haha.

Besides Superband, I watched the Korean drama on Channel U. Quite nice I should say. But then the only thing which I dislike is that how come dramas always have to involve the problem of memory loss.

As for Singapore Idol, I only had impression of the guy, Paul whose hair is styled like Hee Jun’s and I heard that he’s a wonderful singer who is least likely to be eliminated. Well, I seldom tune in to Channel 5 except for the World Cup which was over. Only managed to catch the first Singapore Idol Final with Taufik and Sylvester.

Last of all, I was busy writing stories and reading other stories for the past few days. I’m also waiting for the day to change my blogskin. Please look forward to it as it will look very different from what it is like now. Hope my friends can get use to the 180 degrees change. Take care always. =)

Germany lost.
Haiz. I never expect that outcome although it doesn’t come much as a surprise. Or rather, I choose not to predict that Germany will lose because to me, they always last till the end. Blame it on their luck.

Now between France and Italy, 2 giants coming together head-on and one has to go. I know nothing much about the 2 teams, only to know that one sells great perfume and wine, the other famous of her romantic atmosphere. But never mind. Based on pure guess,1-0 for France to win the World Cup. On the other hand, Germany will win 2-0 to take the third place. That’s my bet. Sorry to the hardworking Portuguese.
* If I’m wrong, I shall remove this post. Haha.

Italy won. Well done. Haha. And Germany took the third place. That's the last time I'm going to see Kahn, is it? Haiz..

Went to Orchard yesterday. Saw that little boy jamming away in his mini drumset. No doubt, it was impressive. After his performance, many people donated money to him. I wondered, if the drummer is a normal adult, not to mention handicapped, would people even bother?

Recently did a lot of Sudoku. Found out the trick to it. Managed to complete one within an hour. Got faster after a few practices. Completed the last one in 38 minutes. Is that something to be proud of?

Intended to change my blog skin. Prepared one on my own. Anybody wants to see? Went online to fight a war on 30 June. Got my timetable for next semester.

Stayed at home for the past few days. Wrote a few articles to earn money. Has been wandering in the Hogwarts. Watching Quidditch. Lost contact with the muggles. Learned a few spells. And curses, of course.

Anyway, will Germany win?
